Hide Delete button from sub grid

Hi,

I need to hide / disable the delete button from subgrid in crm 2013. I have used normal standard way to create the sub grid on a lead form. Can anyone point me the way? I do not want the user to delete the row or can we give a prompt for delete confirmation?

Thank you,

    Hi VPrashant,

You can do this by using Security Role.

Remove the Delete permission for that subgrid entity.

Thank you Saravanakumar for the reply. Do you mean that by clicking Enable Security Roles from that form, and selecting the appropriate role will solve this issue. Currently this entity is only on my organization and so I can see that but if its deployed then other people will not see it. correct? Or from the Security Role -> clicking CRM Integration Service. In that I can see that in Custom entities tab, the delete circle is empty for that custom entity. Please confirm. Thank you again.

    Hi VPrashant,

Let's consider your case eg: There are two entity 1).Main entity 2)Sub entity.

Main entity has sub grid of sub entity.

    Follow the below Steps

    1) Goto Settings->Administration->Security Role

Then select role, which role you already assigned to the user. It will open a pop-up window.

    2) Then click the "Custom Entities" Tab.

In that for the "Main Entity" give permission as "Organization".

For the "Sub entity" give permission as "Organization" except "Delete" option.

The user can read/see the records in the "Sub Entity" (Sub-Grid) but they can't delete the records.

    Hi Tin,

Sorry for the late reply. Did you find the solution yet. If not, please follow this:

    Excerpt from Saravanakumar :

Still if your problem persists, do reply with more data so we can solve it ASAP.
