Update Budget control configuration during remove Account structure from ledger

'Hi All, 

i was using the budget control and at time of remove Account structure from ledger Ax restrict to remove the Account structure and give error "Account structure COA- I/S cannot be deleted because it is in use for budget control in ledger . You must first update the budget control configuration." The following step has been performed to resolve error but does not work. 1. Deactive budget control configuration 2. disable budget control and basic budget dimension from selected budget dimension.

    Hi Haris Gillani,

    You have to change the account structure first in the budget control configuration form with another one. Once this is done, you can remove it from the ledger form.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Yes i follow your suggested answer but again after change the account structure ledger form did not remove the previous account structure even when i de-select the dimension from basic budget it restrict to remove

    Hi Ludwig,

    Here is below step i did to remove the account structure from ledger form which is stuck to remove due to budget control:

    1. Create new account structure with one temporary main account.

    2. Add account structure in Ledger form and disable old account structure from configure account structure.

    3. Add new account structure to budget control configurations

    4.  Try to disable dimension for budgeting under basic budget link, these dimensions are old account structure dimensions which i try to remove but restrict and give error dimension used in budget control.
