GP Script Errors when navigating through or attempting to access dropdowns in areas

Is anyone else getting the same Script Errors when starting GP, or when navigating to a different Category in the Navigation Bar, or when clicking the sectional drop down arrows to reveal its’ contents below? Did anyone get the same errors before and fix them?

I have full control over the temp folder where the error is occurring and I also deleted my IE temp files and cookies, based on the advice given here: https://community.dynamics.com/gp/f/32/p/50058/90052.aspx

    Check the Support Article 918313

    Further issues to consider:

    • Clearing temp folder
    • Clearing cookies and history from Internet Explorer
    • Installing office web components

This is a similar case that you might need to take a look at, while opening GP2010 error "An error has occurred in the script on this page" is populating

    Hope this helps,

Thanks Mahmoud. After exhausting all the options suggested, I tried to figure out anything that I had set up manually. I found that what causes this problem for me is when I run the program as an administrator. I checked the "Run as administrator" option 4 months back and it never gave me this problem until about 2 weeks ago. With that being said, I unchecked the option, and running the program normally is what works for me. Not sure what I'm going to do when I need to run it as the administrator though...

The Run as Admin option really only comes into play if you have UAC turned on Jeff.

Thanks for that Jonathan. You're absolutely right. I turned off the UAC to test if I got any script errors when running as administrator and running normally, and I didn't run into the script errors this post was created about. I'm going to put UAC back on until there's a need for me to run GP as an admin.

    Thanks again guys!
