Automatically filling in missing data in quote line in NAV2009

Posted on by 4
Hello,

I have created a dataport in NAV2009 to import some data into our quote lines, and I would like the rest of the information to automatically populate the line by being retrieved from the system.

In the screenshot below you can see in orange the fields that I have imported and in black the lines as it should be when it is complete. How do I get the No., Description, Profit and all the other fields to be imported automatically when I enter the data through the dataport? Can that be done?

Thanks,
Marco

    I think these processes can be done in XmlPort trigger. You can try the following three triggers.
    trigger OnPostXmlPort()
    trigger OnAfterInsertRecord()
    trigger OnAfterGetRecord()

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
