also verify you have data on following tables in POS Database.

-ax.INVENTTABLE
-ax.INVENTDIM
-ax.INVENTDIMCOMBINATION
-ax.INVENTITEMBARCODE

Have you ran Retail Batch Jobs without issue ? if not run all the jobs & check again .
