This one has been nagging me for some time. It applies to both register machines running POS and back-office machines just running SO Manager. Sometimes, with some computers, once the application has been exited, it won't restart. With POS, sometimes if you open windows task manager you can see the POS application is still listed. Generally, you can quit that task, then POS will restart. Gererally with SO Manager, you don't see it still listed in task manager. But trying to launch Manager again just does nothing at all. I've trained my folks that they need to log-off as the user and in again, which then allows them to start Manager again. Something is either not quitting cleanly, or there is a conflicting application. Any clues?
