I wanted help from Analytical Accounting experts on Dynamics GP. Basically I am setting up AA on the new company and following will be the scenario.
1) All the P&L account will have 3 or 4 level of dimension.
i.e.Sales GL 01-001-1000-0100 - Main Division - DIRECT
Sub Division - MIDWEST
Unit - Unit100
Business Code - 01Prod
I wanted to record all of the above using Analytical Accounting on all the P&L GL account. I am thinking of using AA Dimension for Main Division and AA Dimension code for Sub Division and haven't tested this fully. After this I wanted to go to Unit & Business code is this kind of scenario is possible in AA please give your valuable suggestion.
