Using ISO20022 format pacs.008 for bank-to-bank customer credit transfer

Hi all, does anyone have experience in setting-up the electronic format pacs.008?

This format is of the payment clearing and settlement (pacs) message type which is used for inter-bank communication.

Looking in the configurations for electronic reporting, I can't find a suitable data model / payment model combination.

Exact definition can be found here:

https://www.iso20022.org/iso-20022-message-definitions?business-domain%5B0%5D=1&search=pacs.008

Thx. a lot.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Florian,

Like mentioned by Ludwig, this format is not found as standard in electronic reporting repositories.

You can either create this config in the GER by using model mapping "Payment model mapping to destination ISO20022"  or "Payment model mapping 1611", then you can create your config.

If this format is standard on your country, you can raise a support case for Microsoft and inform them to get this config as standard.

    Hi Ludwig,

With regarding to ISO 20022 credit transfer ER format, currently the logic is defined in a way to send only one/first invoice in the generated payment file, but we have a case where multiple invoice are marked for settlement against vend account, so it is feasible to modify the logic in ER format level to pass the multiple invoice id's in remittance section of the credit transfer file?

    Hello Florian,

To my knowledge this is a format that is not included in the standard ER report formats that MS ships.

You can however, build and design it yourself in the ER workspace.

As long as you know the exact structure of the file, the setup can be made.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
