Database Storage - File Locations

Hello Everyone,
 
Technical question here, but NOT a problem question!!
 
When using the Timeline to record an e-mail with an attachment, where does that attachment get stored?  Does it get allocated to the Database of the File capacity?
 
Reason I ask is that I see this on the https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage webpage -
 
 
Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated!
