Transfer Journal Error "Incorrect rounding of amount"

Hi All,

When i want to validate and post a Transfer Journal, im getting this error "Incorrect rounding amount".

From my checking, seem everything is correct. I could not find what is wrong with the journal.

This is my journal and the error getting from the journal.

Please suggest what to be done.

Hello Adhha Adnan,

I can see only a single line in your screenshot above and wonder whether this error message might be the result of a system modification?!

If this is not the case then please check your rounding rules that you have setup in GL for the different currencies and in the GL parameters form and try to adjust them to see whether those changes allow you processing this transaction.

Good Day. Hope the information shared Ludwig is help to resolve your concern and able to post the journal by now. If so kindly mark the thread as answered.

On the other side if the issue is not resolved; please let us know the rounding setup in GL parameter form; have you made any changes to unit price or rounding setting recently. I will help to investigate further on this.

Hi Adnan,

This msg. usually appears when we do any any modifications to the unit cost or the in journal? It seems like the cost in the line is not to the expected decimal roundings as per your modification.

Can you try the same on any fresh machine and put the same amount with negative Qty. and check if you get the same msg or not. In addition to that, when you create transfer journal with postive Qty. Do you get the msg?
