Crystal Reports - Print single page twice, or add page 2 with same info

Hello!

We have an issue with our Annual Training Order Management custom invoice. In the past, they were set up to print out two copies. Looking through the current Crystal and SL settings, we cannot find this option after our upgrade and are trying to come up with any way to get two pages to print. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know!

Another thought I had - Is it possible to create a page 2 for a report in a Crystal to print the exact same information on the first page? I'm able to find a 'New Page After' option in the Group Footer, however I'm not sure if this will solve the issue. It's looking like I would have to add everything from the Group Headers to Group Footers again in the report list to get it to work. This could get messy very quickly. Is this an option we could/should explore? If it were as easy as creating a new page, and copy/pasting everything from page one into page two, that would be amazing but it doesn't seem to be that simple.

What we need is one copy for us, and one for our consultants. Any help or ideas are welcome so we don't end up at photocopiers during our giant sale on Friday!

    Thanks Dwight and DB - These both did the trick!

    We had made the change first to the database and it was only printing one copy for the first few orders, then we added the step and everything must have kicked in at the same time because we started getting 4 copies. We ended up taking out the extra step and everything was resolved.

    Oh my goodness - I can't believe I just did this. I was in the wrong system database. Ack!

    Nevermind, I found the field I needed. I'm testing this all out now, so I'll make the change to 2 and then go take a nice, long, nap. lol.

    Thank you for the suggestion!

    I just tried to query this, and found that no record exists. In going to Report Control Maintenance, there is information in there for the Control Options. Allow multiple copies has been enabled. I made a change, saved it and closed it, then opened it again and changed it back. Same thing - Nothing is showing up in my table for this report id. Am I missing something for it to write a record to the Report Control table?

    We just made it through an upgrade where this had worked previously. The curious part is that if this was set up with the copies allowed set to 2, it should have copied over. We kept the System settings the same and made our updates here during our testing/etc.

    In the system DB the number of copies is controlled by the CopiesAllowed column for the report number.  If you want it to print 2.  Set it to 2 for that report number and it should always print 2.

    select CopiesAllowed,* from rptcontrol where reportnbr = '40680'

    Ah-ha! That just might be the key we're looking for. I'll do some testing and see if this is what we need.

    Hi JenWal,

    One idea is for you to add a (nearly) identical Print Invoice step to your Customer Order Type.

    After the Print Invoice line, add another Print Invoice step. Give it a Sequence number one higher than the Sequence number of the current Print Invoice step. You'll also need to give it a different Function Class (make it something like 0000). All the other fields should be the same.
