We have recently encountered issues with our cloud-hosted development machine, and it may not remain functional in the future. As a result, we are planning to deploy a new cloud-hosted development environment. When we raised a ticket with Microsoft, they suggested considering deployment of a UDE (Unified Development Environment) instead of another cloud-hosted dev machine.
If we proceed with deploying UDE, we have the following questions:
1.Is it possible to connect a standard UAT environment to Visual Studio, similar to how we connect in a dev machine using the web configuration file to debug production data?2.Our operations database is nearly 446 GB in size. Will refreshing or copying this database to the newly deployed UDE cause any performance issues?
3.Is it possible to perform a database refresh from the existing cloud-hosted development machine to the UDE?
