Hi we are upgrading our version of dynamics.
i understand the next version to be a cloud based solution that does not allow database access.
my question is , how can I query the data within the database going forward post the upgrade.

Userss can directly query the data by connecting online database.
Users will have read access to the data.

Data export service provided by microsoft will help you replicate CRM online data to azure sql database which can later be used for Analytics, BI and Upgrade data migration validation.
