Customer Self Starter Portal - Edit Navigation, remove content

I am configuring the customer self-service starter portal to be used for cases only. Does any one know if it is possible to remove the knowledge base and forums?

I have hidden them from site but I am unable to remove them from the home page, it seems they are hard coded into the code/template. Has anyone faced this? Any workarounds?

Hi, you definitely can manage that content.  In CRM navigate to Portal > Web Templates.  Find the web template named "Home" and open it up.  Then you can comment out the HTML you want or completely remove it from the template.

The web page Home uses a Page Template called Home that maps to the Web Template...Home.
