New DIXF entity: "Project 'DMF__Entity' already exist in application"

I tried to create a custom entity using the wizard in our test environment using query and ended up in a development area.  To avoid this area I backed out and attempted to use method (msdn does not give much help on choosing).  At the select table form I selected the table and recieved this error.

Project 'DMFInventTableModuleEntity' already exist in application

1. Can I fix this to continue

2. How can I create a simple table entity without getting into the dev areas?

    Hi Richard,

The wizard is creating AOT objects for you and needs to access the development environment. After the objects are created, usually you have to alter the objects to e.g. complete a generate method. Well... I started answering question 2.

About the first question: Check in the AOT shared and private projects (user specific) if the project already exists with the same name. Note that another user can have created a project. Then it is only visible for him.

So with no dev experience or support should I give up creating any custom entities altogether?

Clicking on edit in the error dialog takes me to the AOT.  I did a Ctrl+F for DMFInventTableModuleEntity and came up empty; not going to pursue that any further.

I know I created it, I'm the only one who uses DIXF.

Looks like I will await an environment refresh and try again at that time.

    Thanks again André
