Suggest Alternative Solution to Use Microsoft UI Pages (e.g., Customer Card) in Power BI

Hello Community,

Following the recent Business Central v26 update, OData web services for Microsoft UI pages (such as the Customer Card) can no longer be exposed or accessed through Power BI.

As a result, reports that previously relied on these page-based web services are now failing, and attempts to republish the web service return an error indicating that the Tenant Web Service OData does not exist.

Please suggest any recommended alternatives for consuming UI page data (such as the Customer Card) in Power BI.

Suggested solution: For the UI pages you've used in Business Central, create corresponding Page APIs for similar datasets and utilize them in your Power BI reports.

Utilize Built-in APIs (v2.0) Business Central provides a set of built-in APIs designed for integration purposes. For instance, the customer API offers access to customer data. These APIs are optimized for performance and stability, making them suitable for Power BI reports.Microsoft Learn+2

Hi, This is a decision made by Microsoft, and partners have no choice but to comply, although I think it would be better to update at least once an alternative solution is available.
Microsoft has also mentioned elsewhere that it is not recommended to publish standard pages to Web Services.
    For example,

There are only two ways from now on.
    1. Copy the standard page to create a new page, and then publish it to the Web Service
    2. Reset the API page
The second method is recommended because it has the best performance.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
