There are a few items that we have the option of ordering in the Child or the Parent. If we do this and then sell the Child, will the system then force the Parent to a negative?

When you order say for example, 10 child items packs in 1 one parent item, then when you order 100 child items and make the sale of 1 child item, then RMS will packs the 90 child items into 9 parent items and leave 9 child items as in inventory. I hope this answers the question.
Hello, If you order the child it will populate the child items qty and not affect the parent qty whatsoever.
