Lookup view only shows the first 2 fields in the view

I have a lookup view that is only showing the first two fields of the view instead of the normal 3.

This is what users see:

If you click the drop-down arrow it then shows the remaining columns of the view.

I'm only wanting to show the first three. The view is set up properly with the three columns that should be shown as the first three columns in the view. I've played with the column widths, I've set and reset the default view, nothing has given me any different results. Is what I'm seeing the normal behavior for UCI?

Hi guys, somehow similar question: is there a way to expand the view (as if the the little arrow would have been clicked) by default FOR ONLY one view/lookup? By using JS or some other trick?

    Hi caiello,

Yes, it is the normal behavior for UCI.

For the legacy web client, only the first three columns, left to right, of the related entity Lookup View are displayed.

In the new Unified Interface, the first two columns are shown, and clicking on the dropdown will show all Lookup view columns.

Well, i's one way to address it.  Not the most elegant perhaps.  The reason I asked about PSA is your screenshots show "project tasks" which shows up under "Project Service" (not to be confused with the new Project Ops which is only available with  F&O licenses as far as I know) as far as I know, so I'm trying to recreate what you're seeing in my SBX as I thought it might be something to do with PSA.

So where exactly is this issue occuring in your environment?

RE: Lookup view only shows the first 2 fields in the view

Hi- This is in Sales/CE, not PSA. I am not worried about the fields that show in the expanded view, those are fine, I just want to be able to see the first three columns in the initial view, but I can only get it to show 2.

I saw this method of concatenating multiple fields together as a possible solution: community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-display-more-than-three-columns-in-dynamics-365-lookup-view, but my understanding and experience are that it should be able to show 3 by default unless that has changed and I never noticed.

PS. Sincere apologies, Lorne Rogers, I somehow managed to accidentally click the "Report as Abusive" button (no idea how) on your post. I did NOT mean to do that!!!

So, for clarity, this is in PSA and in the initial view you want to see ".Net environment...." and "60.00" and "17.75".  Then in the expanded view, you want to make sure the last 2 fields of "17.75" and "Analysis...." do NOT show up?
