Hi Is there a best practices document for doing a physical inventory?

We are getting ready to do our first physical inventory. We do not have bin locations defined (well none that matter anyway) Is there any white papers or anything out there that define best practices for doing an inventory?

Victor, try APICS - the Association for Operations Management. (www.apics.org). You should find some relevant info about inventory control on their site. APICS used to stand for American Production and Inventory Control Society.
