Hi,
For some reason, Activities recorded against Contacts are not appearing in the Contact's parent Account timeline. I'm sure this used to work and it's not something I'm aware of anyone disabling.
How can I check/correct this setting please?

When we did the testing in the OOB vanilla instance the functionality is working as expected.
The Task that I created in the Contact is showing up in the Account record timeline.
We request you to check if there are any customization which is interfering here.
