Hello everybody,

We have imported an organization through backup/restore database from another environment and now we have users which was not bound on the import organization process. They are in the Active directory, but they cannot authenticate in CRM.

Is there a way to rebind those users?

Thank you,

    Hello Picassadi,

I wanted to collect some information to assist you.

When the user tries to login does he gets any error message? I would request you to share the same.

Also if you do see that there are certain log files available then I would request you to please share the log files as well.

This would help us understand if there is a particular reason why the login for the user would not occur.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

    Regards

    Bhartendu Pandey

    You should try doing following:

    1. Create some dummy user in AD.

    2. Update user's domain name with this dummy account and save.

    3. Update user's domain name with real domain name and save.

I haven't tried it for a long time but it worked fine in 4.0 and 2011.

    Good luck.

The Domain Name field is correct. I could not change the domain name, otherwise it won't be the same user anymore. Also, i update the email field, and save it. But this did not solve the problem. The user still cannot authenticate into the CRM.

    Hello,

Try to open user record in CRM and update Domain Name field.
