Talent - Does talent record historic data changes

Hi,

Does talent record all data changes. For example if an employee changes name, address, line manager, benefits etc, will that be recorded in talent and available to report on via Power BI?

Hi Jamie,

A lot of human resource details are date effective. You can go to e.g. the worker details or position details as select a date in 'As of date' or view the details about the different versions. You can export these date effective details as well.

Thanks Andre for your reply. Is there no way to see this when connecting to talent via CDS in Power BI? For example when I connect to talent and look at the worker entity, it doesn't appear to have the historic data in there. Is it stored in a seperate entity?

Hi Jamieee,

Apologies for a late reply.

I checked the worker entity, but indeed there is no date effective details in it. If you export e.g. position details, you will see all history.
