"Correct" Not Creating a Sales Invoice

Hi:
 
After choosing a Posted Sales Invoice and clicking the "Correct" button, a new Sales Invoice is not created.
 
Why not?

    Hi John,
     
    The case may be due to some Factors since the "Correct" option performs the reversal with a credit memo and generates a new invoice (if some conditions are met).
     
    - The invoice is fully or partially paid.
    - The invoice includes items.
    - You do not have the necessary permissions.

    Hi, are there any error messages? I tested it briefly and there was no problem.
     
     
    Please note that if you have canceled it, you cannot create a new sales invoice.

    For the shake of testing. you cam create a new test SO and cancel it in CRONUS. Could be something different scenario on your specific sales order.

    It's depend on how you created the sales invoice and posted it! (like have you created the sales invoice manually or is it posted from order) Could you provide more details on it? So I can help you to figure it out!

    You're right.  I was clicking "Correct" on a Posted Sales Invoice created from a Sales Order.
     
    That's why a separate unposted Sales Invoice wasn't created.
