Business Process flow 'Set Active' button not working.

I'm debugging an environment using a business process flow with custom entities.

Flow goes from Application->Project->Connection

When the user saves the Project, the application is made inactive automatically (using plugin).

However, if the user navigates back to the inactive application, and selects the button 'set active' in the bpf drown down, this does not reactivate the application entity.

Instead, the 'Set Active' button disappears and says 'Next Stage' instead. But the Application is still inactive. It can only be reactivated by using the 'Activate' button in the ribbon.

I assume the 'Set Active' button may not be working properly because it is a custom business process flow on custom entities. But how can I edit it to edit, replace or remove the 'Set Active' button. I cannot see any option for it in the 'business process flow' editor screen.

I have the same question (0)

    So I've just tried replicating this with out of the box entities on a trial environment and same issue. When I qualify a lead to an opportunity, then navigate back to inactive lead as select 'Set Active', it does not reactivate.

    Is this a known issue?

    Hi AMD99,

    It is not one issue, it is one OOB behavior actually.

    The "Set Active" button in BPF is used to make the current stage active, not to make the current record active.

    when you click to a different stage in the process flow, the “Next” button changes to “Set Active.”

    The “Set Active” button is designed to allow users to jump back to an already completed stage. If you click on a stage in the past, you can click “Set Active” and move back to the completed stage.

    If you want to make current record active, you can click 'Reactive/Active' button in the ribbon bar of the form.

    Hi AMD99,

    As per my understanding if your business process gets inactive go to the ribbon button and make it active. You can't directly make the active your application using bpf button "set active ". set active button is used for actives the stage not your application.
