Hello,

I often need to trace the posted sales invoice numbers containing a particular product.

How can I quickly do this?

If I go the Items menu 'Related-History-Entries-Ledger Entries' only the Sales shipment Doc number is shown.

You can use "Posted Sales Invoice Lines" page and filter to the particular product.

The quickest way would be to use the Posted Sales Invoice Lines Page. You can filter on the No. field for the specific item no. you're looking for. You can then look at the Document No. to get your posted invoice no.

I believe there are multiple ways to approach this, depending on how often you need the data:

Use a configuration package with a filter.

Create a Power BI report with a search option.

Utilize the standard Business Central filter.

Personally, I often prefer using the configuration package with a filter, as it allows me to download all the columns.
