Hi All,
we have subscribed to the Silver package in Apr as below, thus now trying to activate the D365 CRM module. Below are some of her queries for your assistance, thanks in advance.
- From the screenshot above, the Microsoft documentation states that Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement plan is no longer available online. Does this mean the license we got from the Microsoft Silver Partner program can only be used for the offline/on-prem version? For reference, the license given to us for free when we joined the Microsoft Silver Partner program is named Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement, and upon research, we stumble across this page that states that the online version for this specific license is not available anymore.
- If Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement plan is only available offline/on-prem, are the features different than the online version? Will there be any of the online features that are missing on the on-prem version?
- From our research, we found out that the ‘online’ version of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement plan has now been split to 5 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, Project Service Automation). If the license can also be used online, does this mean we will be able to access all 5 of these modules ?
4. On the Power Platform admin center, we noticed that Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, Project Service Automation) are not listed under Resources > Dynamics 365 apps. Is this the correct page to access the modules or are there a separate page for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules.
5.The Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement license has been assigned to a user, but none of the modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, Project Service Automation) are available in Office 365. Are there extra steps need to be done after assigning the license to the user?
