Maximum registration capacity

Hi!!

I need to stage our event...I create a new event but I receive this error and the registration is not permitted:

At least one session for this event has reached its maximum registration capacity.

My event is On Site

Maximum event capacity: 800

Building capacity: 10000

Session doesn't have the capacity because we want register by event so is not allow registrants to create their own agenda.

I try many times but I receive the same error... :(

Someone can help me?

Thank you

    RE: Maximum registration capacity

    Thanks MustafaKamali, this helped.

There is a business rule on the Session entity which is part of the MicrosoftDynamics_EventManagement solution. This business rule sets the initial values of the Registration count and the Check-in count to 0 if they're null. Not sure why it got disabled in the first place, but after re-enabling the BR the warning message disappeared.

On our instance we have a similar issue and getting the same Warning Message: " At least one session for this event has reached its maximum registration capacity. ”

This warning message is triggered by the webresource "Msevtmgt_EventMgt.CrmWebResource" and compare the fields "Session.SessionCapacity and Session.RegistrationCount"

If the field Session.Capacity is NULL the warning message on event entity is shown. Is this a bug?

    RE: Maximum registration capacity

    Hello

I have some problem as Francesca.

I think the problem is that the check-in count is not processed. The fields are blank in Francesca`s screenshots. I also.
In Mao screenshots, these fields contain zeros as they should.
    Here is my screenshot:

I have not fixed this problem and do not know how to do it. I would greatly appreciate your help.
    Thank for help

    Hey Francesca,

If Clofly's steps below did not help, please do raise a support ticket so that we can investigate this behavior. We're not seeing this on the OOB application so there is something peculiar going on.

    Thanks

    Shravan

    RE: Maximum registration capacity

    Hi Francesca,

With Allow registrants to create their own agenda option was set to No,

sessions should not be constrained by maximum capacity field as normal situation.

I tested with information you've posted in two environments (9.1.0.9234 with wave 2 release not enabled and wave 2 release enabled) and didn't encounter your issue.

The only situation that I could reproduce your issue is that I dragged maximum registration capacity field to session main form(in advanced settings > customization) and set a small value manually,

    pastedimage1571648951473v2.png

(maximus was set to 1 and 1 contact added for its registration manually)

then the session will show an error notification: session has reached maximum capacity..

    pastedimage1571648798779v1.png

and then I also got error as yours:

Suggestion: before finally raise a ticket for help, you could try to set a large number for session registration manually in form editor then test whether issue could be fixed.

If above steps not work, you may raise a ticket for support because the feature shall work as expected with the option be set to No:

    RE: Maximum registration capacity

    Hi Clofly...

    Below my Event:

    pastedimage1571639683169v1.png

    Maximum event capacity: 800

    Building:

    pastedimage1571639735113v2.png

In my Agenda I need to insert more Session (because our event during 5 days and we have more speakers and sessions):

    pastedimage1571639890516v3.png

I didn't insert the room in all session so I didn't write the capacity for each session.

I need to create a event with event registration (not session registration) but in the portal I need to show all session....

    but the same error appears:

    pastedimage1571640004734v4.png

And when I go to the portal and click on Register now the system tell me that I can't because the event is complete....

    Please, help me

    Thank you

    Francesca

    RE: Maximum registration capacity

    Hi Pittarella ,

Could you share detailed steps and necessary screenshot if possible so that I could reproduce your issue.

Currently I set an event with your description and didn't encounter the issue.(registration complete)

Event General information:(waitlist this event is set to No)

    pastedimage1571451834016v1.png

    Building:

    pastedimage1571451894658v2.png

Not allow registrants create their own agenda:

    pastedimage1571452018304v3.png

Only one session be added for the event:

    pastedimage1571452056358v4.png

    Session details:

    pastedimage1571452111622v5.png

    1. So where did you encounter the error? in Event form with a notification or in Event page ?

    2. Screenshots with some necessary details of your event and session.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Clofly
