User role assignment lost after importing model store

I am running into an issue when I import a model store, some of the user role assignments are lost. I have to go to the user accounts and reassign the role. Has anyone run into this before?

    Hi,

    If you import a model store you also import environment specific values. The security artifacts will get different ID's. So this causes your issue.

    You can try to see if you are able to repair the assignments e.g. in the table SecurityUserRole by using new security role Id's. I have not done this before as reassigning is a good option..

    Hi Micahel

    In addition to what André say, when you create new Roles, etc. new objects are created on AOT.

    Could be that some Roles had different names between original and destination enviroment.

    Yep. It was mismatched ID's and names in the two environments. I had made the roles on the fly in the other system. When I imported the model store, it overwrote them with new names, hence unassigning the user assignments to those two roles. Thanks!
