D365: Field Service Work Order Signature

Hi,

I'm setting up Field service in D365. I have some doubts. Please clarify.

In mobile app, for field service agent, Work Order has Signature field.

1. What is the purpose of this field?

2. Who needs to sign here, Customer or Field Service Agent?

3. And where this gets stored in D365 web?

Thanks,

Nithya

    Here is a guide:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../field-service-mobile-app-user-guide

    1. Later in the process you could create a custom service report with the signatures on it.

    2. Both can add if your process requires it. Usually the customer that confirms that your job was completed to his satisfaction.

    3. In gets stored in the Notes section of your Work Order

In the woodford app configuration you can specifiy for an notes field that a signature can be taken and stored into that field.
