FRX 6.7 AA report issue after moving the sysdata folder from Windows 2003 32bit SQL 2000 to Windows 2008 64bit SQL 2008 R2

Hi,

I have moved the GP10 SP3 from Windows 2003 32bit SQL 2000 to Windows 2008 64bit SQL 2008 R2.  And FRx6.7 SP12 was installed in OS 2003.

I have installed FRx6.7 SP12 in OS 2008 R2. Since Frx AA wizard will not support 64bit OS, I am not able to run the AA wizard in OS 2008 server.

I tried one workaround. I have created ODBC for OS 2008 (SQL Server 2008 R2) in old server 2003 and mapped the ODBC in FRx. And tried to run the FRx. I can able to run the reports except AA. But the AA reports are not working. It was giving an error message :

"FRx32.OFSIMain.CheckOFSIConnection8900: A DirectLink error has occurred attempting to connect to the DB for this company."

Could you please help me how to run the AA reports in new server 2008 ?

Thanks & Regards,

Uma.

    Hi Uma,

How did you fix the issue?

by assigning the GP users(having access to Trx dimensions & Codes) to DYNGRP or Any other alternatives?

    Hi Nataraj,

I have fixed the issue. There were no data in Frl tables after I moved the DB from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008.. I have inserted the values into Frl tables, then I can able to run AA reports.

    Regards,

    Uma Loganath.

    Hi Nataraj,

Thanks for your reply. I am using "SA" login to run the Frx reports.

I can able to generate other reports except AA reports.

what is the meaning of "The Analytical Accounting user's SQL Server profile must be part of the DYNGRP SQL Server group ".

    Please help me.

    Thanks,

    Uma.
