Can you be more specific?
If you want to control by permissions, please use permission management.

If you are just asking what functions are available, you can try out item journal, item revaluation journal, Item Reclassification Journal, etc.

Hope this can give you some hints.

If your question is about who can post inventory adjustments, it is controlled by the permission set.

Good morning,

Thank you for your responses and my apologies.

The question came up regarding the last platform which MS Dynamics 2013. Adjustment and Variance document types were used by the Inventory personnel, and they were the ones posting.

I understand the permissions of the users would have allowed that but with BC, can this be made a little more transparent? This is a concern for the Finance Manager.

I will go through the suggestions and highlight any more questions.

I don't think there is much control on inventory adjustments except by using proper setup of user permissions. There is 3rd party addon for inventory adjustment journal approval and you could check it out on the BC extension marketplace.
