Import BOM journal using DIXF

Hi,

I am trying to import BOM journal from csv file using DIXF. Totally 3 records are there in csv file, 1 is main Item and others are line items(BOM). I set JournalId as Auto and its query criteria is journal type field and Line num as auto. After mapping, I am able to see records in preview source file.

The problem is after inserting data in staging table, its is showing Unbalanced tts commit error.  I am able to see data in staging form but when I reset that tts error the generated journal id value is back to '1'. So, I cannot move to copy to target table. Kindly help on this.BOM-journal-error.png

    Hi Thameem,

    Try to create a journal in AX first. Then don't use the auto numbering, but provide the number in your source file. See if this helps.

    Hi Andre,

    Yes I have tried that data is inserted in staging and target without error. After this, I tried to create journal manually in bill of materials form, it is fetching same journal id which is in the csv file. And some fields like Numoflines in InventJournalTable and InventTransIdFather in Trans table are not updated in inserted record from csv.

    Have you enabled the execution of business logic on the target entity and the processing group?

    Apart from the number of lines, are you able to import and post the journal correctly?

    Yes I have enabled business logic in both. I dint not write any code in target entity class. Yes, Apart from NumOflines(field) and InventTransIdFather (Field) I am able to validate and post journal. Do I need to add any extra field? Following is my data in csv file.

    JournalNameId JournalType JournalId LineNum TransDate BOMLine ItemId Qty CostPrice InventSiteId InventLocationId inventBatchId
    IBOM BOM   no Main item 1 1 11 Batch1
    IBOM BOM Yes Line Item -1 1 11 Batch2

    Hi,

    Following this link https://community.dynamics.com/ax/b/timsaxblog/archive/2015/11/30/import-an-inventory-journal-with-automatic-numbering-in-ax-2012-r3 I have tried with importing Movement journal also, But getting same Unbalanced tts error after importing in staging table. And, while clicking journal id field in view staging data form I am getting company range error. 6204.Error.PNG

    Any help?
