Hi,

I have created a work flow for Updating Date field. Trigger time given is 7 days From the selected date.

it should automatically update the field every 7 days but after coming to present day it is Updating only once.

Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Thank you

    Hi Amos Dave,

If you are having issue of infinite loop, I will suggest to use custom workflow and inside it return flag as true if current date match. It could help to find out issue as well using trace log in custom workflow.

    Regards,

    Pravin

    Hi Pravin Pawar ,

Thanks for the reply. Is it not possible to achieve this in normal workflow?

    Hi Amos,

It is possible actually using normal workflow but still I will suggest to use custom workflow. It will help you to find issue as well.

    Hi,

It is possible using workflow, I will suggest to paste logic here so we can figure out cause of it.  I am not sure why it stopped by current date so we need to check conditions.

Does the workflow call "itself" again at the end? Otherwise it will run only once

    Hi Amos,

As I can see in the screenshot you provided the child process you called is wrong.

I've attached a screenshot the arrow in red is where you should call your child process, outside your if condition so that it gets called recursively every time.

If this helps please mark as verify

    Hi Amit,

I've changed it as you suggested. The workflow runs till the current date and stops.
