Hello all,

We have a requirement that will involve using a large number of 301 redirects to map legacy Product URLs to the D365 Site Builder URLs that follow the format of www. {domain} / { productName } /recordID.p

Where we are struggling, is finding a list of the new URLs to map the legacy URLs to with the 301 redirects. We are looking for a data entity that can be pulled that contains the SKU, product name, and Record ID.

We have pulled All Products, Released Products V2, and a few others, but are not finding a data entity that shows the RECORD ID.

Does anyone know how we can get our hands on a full list of the RECORD IDs that belong to products?

I'm not sure. I think best practice would be to associate to the RECID in Headquarters but not to actually use the value in the URL on the PDP (Product Details Page). Still haven't actually been able to discover a way to get a list of all PDP URLs so we can bulk 301 redirect. If anyone has any ideas please share.

I had stumbled upon the same thing. Why would MS use RECID of a product to build the PDP URL ?

Does the recordID you mentioned refer to the recid?
