financial updating quantity must have same sign in the posting unit and the inventory unit

Dear AXperts , 

I am facing the error of "financial updating quantity must have same sign in the posting unit and the inventory unit" while posting purchase invvoice. I have checked as if there is No negetive cost in financial cost but still this issue is prevailing. Need suggestion to fix this issue.

    Hi,

    Can you share the PO details and what has been entered in the PO invoice form?

    Is that an ordinary PO or one that has an intercompany relationship to a SO?

    Dear Ludwig ,

    This is an ordinary PO with item having dimensions as batch , warehouse and location. there is no relation with SO. It impacts ledgers only after posting invoice. As mentioned in the screen shot of inventory transaction it  has not been used yet in any Production or sales process.  I am confused in which possibility it will have negative cost as its mentioned in error.

    Let me know what other details you require to understand this issue in depth.
