AA Data Missing from AAG00500

This is a continuation of a previous issue. I have discovered that in the AAG00500 table there is no data after 12/31/2013, however there is data in the AAG30000 table. I believe this is part of the reason why Smartlist is not returning any data after 2012. How many other tables may be involved? Is there a way to reinstall AA without losing any data and to populate the AAG00500 table?

    Dear Mr. Richard

Apologies for the encountered delay regarding your earlier post. I have been following up with you though regarding the continuous update you gave previously.

My initial assumption is to build this table manually (preferably) on a test environment for that specific year, this would be just to diagnose whether this is the source of the problem or not.You might consider the following when filling the table:

    • aaDateID is a sequential index
    • DATE1: days of the year January through December
In case your fiscal periods are the same as the calendar, those fields are the same:
    • aaCalWeek and aaFiscalWeek
    • aaCalMonth and aaFiscalMonth (1 through 12)
    • aaCalQuarter and aaFiscalQuarter (1, 2,3, and 4)
    • aaCalHalfYear and aaFiscalHalfYear (Values are either 1 or 2)
    • aaCalYear and aaFiscalYear
One further note to consider, I have just tested creating a new fiscal year (Tools > Setup > Company > Fiscal Periods), once a new fiscal is created for a specific year, new records are built within AAG00500.
    Your feedback is highly appreciated,

Mr. AlSaadi, I have come across KB 968055 which confirms your suggestions. As soon as I can get on their server I will confirm that this worked.

We are going to open a case with Microsoft as I am out of ideas on this one. The AAG30000 and AAG40000 tables have data in them, the AAG00500 is missing 2014 even after recalculating FY 2014. Whenever we do any AA query GP locks up.

In the event someone finds this in the future here was the fix. This was GP 10. There is a utility Tools->Utilities->Financial->Analytical Accounting->Move Data to History

When you close the year, this windows should pop up by default. If it did, the person closing the year did not run it. After we ran this and moved data to the correct year, all the AA Smartlists started to run properly.
