Importing excel list of new fixed assets into GP

Looking for step by step instruction on how to add large groups of fixed assets into Dynamics GP 2015 using a excel spreadsheet in import. I have the manual but the steps to do with a macro I can not get to work. Any and all advice help would be appreciated. I have found some great info on the fixed asset module but almost nothing on adding a large amount of fixed assets specifically with a excel spreadsheet. Thank you in advance what a great community!

    Hi,

    You can navigate to help section for screen( Financial >> Utilities >> Fixed Assets >> Asset Import / Export) to look at related items for guidelines to import, field mappings and field values.

    -Do you want to import fixed assets general and book information?

    -Have you considered doing this with integration manager (eConnect

    adapter required)?

    Thank you for your post. Yes I want to import fixed assets general and book information.  We do not have integration manager. I have an excel spreadsheet with all the information. I created a test spreadsheet with the fields from the manual but nothing happens, no macro is created nothing imports nothing. I feel like I am missing a step and really need step by step directions. Do I need to create a macro if so how do I do that? Thank you so much.
