Virtual Entity Data Providers Issue - Conditions is empty in plugin

Posted on by 7

Hi,

We have a search/lookup field which was working fine on the old UI. We migrated to the Unified Interface and the search functionality stopped working.

We use a virtual entity which is hooked up with a Custom Dataprovider.

The plugin code doesn’t seem to have any conditions in the query expression. And this happens only on the Unified Interface.

anyone had similar issues or do you have any suggestions?

Cheers

    Hello Halson,

Can you share details about your plugin, especially the entity and message?

Not 100% sure it's related, but Unified Interface supports data plugin and doesn't support metadata plugins.

In any case, I encourage your to reach out to support to see how this could be mitigated: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support
