Hi,

Is the database backup of Production nonviolent scheduled for nightly? And is manual backup possible? I know for TEST environment, I can use LCS to backup the DB manually.

There's no nightly backup. There's "continuous backup". You can restore the system to any point in time for the last 35 days if you need to. So, also no need for manual backups. But if you want manual backup, you can refresh data from Prod to Sandbox, and then export the Sandbox backup.

You can do point in time restore for a sandbox whenever you want using LCS. Microsoft maintains automated backups according to Microsoft Azure SQL defaults, up to a maximum of 30 days , you dont have to schedule anything separately.
