Is there a way to export the current setting from the instance?

I am looking for a way to export the current settings into XML or anything. Is it possible?

    Hi Miguel,

    Thank you for your reply! It's audit setting of Contact entity. After installation of 3rd party package, MSD stopped to audit the contact entity only. So I wanted to check if it was overwritten or not.

    Hi,

    if you create a solution with that entity and export it, you will see the settings associated with it. Similar to:

    but this will basically give you the same output as the UI.

    However, you can check the solution that you've imported and for sure this setting is set to false (or entity metadata wasn't included?), therefore, it has switched off in your org.
