CRM addin for Outlook 2013 keeps crashing

Hi guys,

This is driving me crazy! Recently had to change my password and now the CRM addin keeps crashing my Outlook. Disabling the addin lets me work on Outlook but I need to do Set Regarding. I tried uninstalling the addin and reinstalling, and now I'm stuck again because it cannot connect to my instance of CRM.

We are on CRM Online, Office 365 (username and password is the same for email and CRM)

I have attached the error log for failing to connect to our CRM - any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Chon,

    Than you for attaching the Error Logs. Based on the provided information, one of the entities seem to accidentally have more than one Primary key set.

    In order to verify that this is not a machine specific issue, I would request you to try to configure the CRM for Outlook on a different machine and let us know if the same error message would appear.

    Also, I would recommend you to create a Service Request with Supportteam.

    Hello,
    To Add to the above mentioned response, you may verify the current version of the CRM Online Org.

    Please install the latest update Roll up for CRM for Outlook Client since the current version for the Outlook plugin that you are using seems to be 6.0.0000.0809

    Installing latest update Roll Up for Outlook Client should resolve the issue. Do let us know if this helps.

    Hi Chon,

    Thanks for using the CRM forums.

    There are multiple errors in the traces that you have shared. Most of them point me to the configuration issues.

    Could you please confirm the following for me?

    -Are you able to access CRM online with the credentials?

    -Are you able to configure the outlook client successfully?

    -Please confirm, if you outlook client is crashing or is it failing during the configuration phase?

    -If it is crashing, please provide the steps that are leading to the crash?

    -Please confirm, if you are the only user facing the issue?

    I have looked into the traces and I think the issue here could be with the primary fields in one of your entities. You might need to changes the DisplayMask value in the MetadataSchema table.  Since, this is a CRM online instance, I recommend you to open a support case with the Microsoft Support. The engineer would investigate further and update the correct values into the MetadataSchema table.

    Have you try this steps.

    1.Close outlook

    2.Clean Internet Explorer Cache

    3.Delete files from %temp% folder

    4.Got to start -> run "control keymgr.dll "

     and delete saved credentials for CRM online.

    5.Reconfigure Dynamics Crm client again.
