We had an issue where a user began a batch and the first document was JC0000499. Several were entered then that user left for a meeting, then entered more. Another user entered some transactions in another batch, and when the original user came back, there were issues of duplicate numbers and the users had to re-number their entries. So two questions:
1. Is there an easy way to renumber a list of entries such as in a general journal batch?
2. How is this best handled/avoided of having conflicting number series when two people are in two different batches at the same time?
Hi kjjson ,
For your first question you can use the BC functionality in General Journal to renumber the document.
For your 2nd question you can use No. series from the Batch list to define no. series to each batch.
