Recurring Journal - Post and Print

Posted on by 5

I have an issue where when posting a recurring journal entry, the post and print button has a filter applied and the report that prints always shows the same filtered results and not the results from the journal entries.  How do I change the filter of the post and print button?

ok, so this is a strange issue because the report run without any filter, but just need to show the entries

So for example if you have one line and you post you see the line you posted, but the second time you run the post which entries the report print? If you have an example it will help

Correct, that is what I am expecting to happen. However, when I click the post and print button, the same report is printing which appears to be a filtered report and NOT does not have the same entries as in the journal.

The post and Print button in recurring Journal , print the entries that are in the journal when you post.

There is no filter setup in this report, its only print the lines that are in before posting

Please be aware that in recurring journal even after you post the line, it will still in the journal to be able to print the next month, this depends from the frequency you setup

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I deleted all of the filters for the report used (mine was 10019) too, but the same filters are applied. Do you have another suggestion?

    Hello,

If you go to General Journal Templates and add 'Posting Report ID' column, confirm what the Posting Report is for your RECURRING template .  In base it is G/L Register 10019, but maybe yours is different.  Search on 'Report Settings', and then look for the report ID and see if there is a saved filter for the Posting Report for your Recurring journals.  Remove the entry in Report Settings and see if that fixes the issue.
