Hello,

Where will the data be saved if a separate billing address is added during checkout? Will it be saved in the customer's address records? Or does it need to be customized to save the billing address data in HQ?

Thanks for the replies Hana and Shafeeque.

Seems like the billing address is being saved in the F&O as a customer credit card address [All Customers > Setup > Credit Cards]

*For the scenarios where we provide only a seperate billing address

Billing Address in E-Com

From how the knowledge article is structured, the billing address is part of the payment module. When I am using just loyalty card as a payment method, the billing address option seems to go away. Looks like this information is only sent to the payment gateway and not saved in F&O. Customization could be required to capture this and save in customer addresses.

Hi,
For instructions on billing addresses you can check out this document. Payment module - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn If you are using the billing address module on your checkout page and are using a dedicated address, set the "Show billing address" property to "False". Similar to the payment module, the supported payment method attributes have been added to the billing address module. The value of this property should be the same as the value provided in the payments module to ensure they work together.
