Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone is using MS Dynamics CRM with outlook integration on a windows based tablet and if so, have you found any restrictions compared to running it off a laptop through outlook?

A nice breakdown of any pros/cons would be much appreciated.

I've been told that functionality between laptops and tablets is the same with only the size of the outlook screen on the tablet being an issue (not sure if that is even true).

Reason for this is that we are deciding to either go with windows based tablets or CWR on ipads for our sales force guys who sometimes work offline. i.e. out of internet/mobile coverage.

    I am asking the same question and I understand the Windows tablet running Windows RT does not support Outlook, however Windows 8 supposts the "free" e-mail service known s Outlook.com.  I want to deply CRM for our field sales force, but I am confused as to what the best way to do so might be.  I wanted to use Outlook, however, that may not be practical at this time.

    I would be looking at using a windows 8 tablet with outlook 2010 installed on it.  As this is the same setup as a laptop I'm hoping it would provide the same functionality...

    That's exactly what we are looking to do, but I understand that the functionality isn't in place yet (?)
