Dear All,
I am unaware of this term Contoso Dataset in Axapta ? Can anyone explain me what it is ? And what for it is used ??
Also let me know whether it is available for AX 2009 ?? If it is available, is there any change for AX 2012 R2 ??

Contoso is a company used by Microsoft for presentation purposes in many products, not only for Dynamics AX. Contoso dataset (AKA demo data) in AX therefore means a set of data related to Contoso company - users, items, orders etc. You can use it as an example of configured AX, test standard features etc.
Demo data for AX2009 exists and it definitely differs from the version for AX2012, because features and database schema are not the same.
