Dynamics CRM workflow process not run

Hi everyone,

I have a question for you: I have an automated workflow process (very simple) that is not running and I don´t know why... I´ve read a lot about similar cases and tried the tipical solutions, for instance: changing the scope (Business Unit, entire corporation, etc), changing workflow´s owner, putting "time out" instead of waiting condition, etc...

The idea is to use the workflow to call a "batch" process automatically by a "wait condition" (2:00 am) (not by changing registers created or assigned, or deleted or fields... I explain myself?)

The most weird thing is the workflow worked ok until last year but inexplicably it stopped working as of January... There have been no changes to the software in my company... so I don´t understand why the worklow is not running... (indeed I have to run it every day late... When I call it manually, it runs perfectly)...


This is the main screen of it: (CRM is in spanish, sorry for that :) )

    Currently your logic just waits a day and calls the child workflow "INTRANET: CIERRE 1 vez al dia" but it doesn't call itself again so it never gets called tomorrow.  To solve this you could do this one of two ways.

    1. Call the child workflow "INTRANET: CIERRE 1 vez al dia" -> Wait 24 hrs -> call child workflow "INTRANET: FICHAS CIERRE (2a.m.)" -> Stop Workflow

    2. Wait 24 hrs. -> Call the child workflow "INTRANET: CIERRE 1 vez al dia" -> call child workflow "INTRANET: FICHAS CIERRE (2a.m.)" -> Stop Workflow

    I prefer option 1 but I have seen lots of other programmers use option 2.

    A way to do this is through computer-telephony integration (CTI), where the CRM is connected to the phone system to ensure a seamless sales call workflow.     Hi Mahadeo, thanks for your answer.

    Yes, in fact, I have to run the workflow manually every day (late) and it runs perfectly. Of course I checked the asynchronous service, it is running ok, no problem with it.

    The issue is that the workflow has to run automatically but it doesn´t...

    Hi,

    Did you try running workflow manually? also check asynchronous service is running or not on server?
