Payroll calculation error

When trying to calculate a single employee in the payroll journal we are getting the error "There are no Payroll Calc Method steps effective for the dates specified in the journal" Now it is only happening to about half of our employees.  Does anyone have any insight?

    This sounds like Serenic Payroll Addon. Can you confirm? If yes, I suggest going to this site for assistance directly with them:

    www.serenic.com/.../
