XDS filter in SSRS RDP Report

Hello All,

I have created customized XDS to filter the records on the customer master, it is working fine and filtering the customers as specified in the XDS. But the same is not working in RDP report. I have tried with "Customer Invoice Transaction report". Its retrieving invoice transactions for all the customers and also I can able to open customer form from the report. Here my question is, how to apply the same XDS on the RDP reports(records). Is it possible? or what is alternate?

XDS does not apply if you are using a System administrator account, but it will always apply in any other scenarios.

Did you try to run it as a regular user?

    Hi Vilmos,

    Hi,

You cannot apply XDS for SSRS Reports!

it might be the case that none of the tables being impacted by your XDS query because of any reason.

I can confirm that XDS gives only filtered data to SSRS.

    Hi suresh,

Thanks. The query based reports are working fine with XDS(Since the constrained tables are directly used in reports), only for RDP reports not possible to apply XDS it seems. Is there any alternate solution?

    Hi,

Yes, But you asked about DP class right? I know about query based report but only you can apply XDS for Query range.

    Hi Sohaib,

Yes, you are correct. The SSRS RDP report is also filtering the records based on XDS.
