Error retrieving company information for Dynamics GP GL Adapter

In the Service Log I have errors stating:

Error retrieving company information for Dynamics GP GL Adapter.

I followed kb 2666579 up to the point of validating the IIS Manager password because I could not locate the application pool folder.

I was able to restart the services and my user stated his data is now up to date but I'm still receiving the above invalid user ID or password errors.

I'm not sure if I need to update the IIS Manager password of if I need to "Update data mart credentials"? If I need to update the data mart credentials are those the sa or the user name who is running the services?
